At Julia Hern Celebrant, the “point of difference” is you. I don’t confine myself to a single “type” of celebrant. My diverse background and adaptable approach mean I can support just about anyone in creating the ceremony they truly want.

Whether it’s black-tie elegance at MONA or cowboy boots on a cricket pitch, I’ve done it all. My couples have experienced a variety of unique weddings, from eloping on the viewing deck at Cradle Mountain to arriving on farm machinery. They’ve tied the knot at a cemetery, signed their paperwork over a family lunch at home, and stood barefoot on the beach to say their vows. And yes, there was that one time I kissed the best man—but in my defence, he was a dog in a bow tie, and he kissed me first!

My role is to help you create a ceremony that not only meets your expectations but also surprises you with little touches you hadn’t even thought of. My job is to make you feel fantastic while making it all look effortless. Since I started marrying couples in 2019, I can honestly say I’ve never had a “difficult” client. That’s not luck; that’s great teamwork.

My goal is to create an event that is perfect for you, so I offer three packages, priced to reflect the value of the inclusions, such as a rehearsal or use of my sound system. And if you still want something in between, I can customise a package just for you.
